Traveller FAQ: parking, free beaches, pets, accessibility, best time to visit
Quick answers for planning a trip to Marina di Lesina. We only state what is confirmed by official sources or by this site's own verified map; everything else is marked “To be confirmed” until the Municipality of Lesina or the park confirms it.
Where can I park?
The map on this site lists three parking areas: Parking – Via dei Geranei, Parking – Viale Torre Fortore, Parking – Largo Cuccia (Lesina). See the map for their exact position. According to the Municipality's 2024 notice, paid parking with meters (blue zones) applies in Lesina and Marina di Lesina: €1 per hour or €5 per day, with 7-day, 30-day and seasonal passes.

Are there free beaches?
Yes: the coast of Marina di Lesina has long stretches of free beach as well as equipped beach establishments (lidos).

Are pets allowed on the beach?
On Puglia's beaches pets are regulated by Regional Law 56/2018, and each municipality must publish the areas that welcome them. We have not found such a list from the Municipality of Lesina, so we do not state one.
To be confirmed Rules may differ between free beaches, lidos, the lagoon and the park: ask the Municipality before bringing a pet.
Is the area accessible for people with reduced mobility?
The 2026 regional bathing ordinance requires every beach establishment in Puglia to have at least one bathing aid for people with disabilities (such as a beach wheelchair), unless the shape of the coast does not allow it. We have not found official information on specific accessible beach access points in Marina di Lesina.

The home page and the beaches page show live weather and sea conditions (air and sea temperature, wind, waves, UV) for Marina di Lesina, and the events page lists the dates we have confirmed. In 2026 the regional ordinance set the bathing season in Puglia from 23 May to 13 September.
